Q1: what kind of certification is required for CR certification?

A1: for industrial robots, function safety certification, electromagnetic compatibility certification or safety + electromagnetic compatibility certification are neccessary.



In addition, the certification mode is divided into product type test (mode A) and product type test + initial factory inspection + Post certification supervision (mode B).

Q2: What is the most difficult part to pass CR certification? What is the reason for the failure?

A2: In CR certification, the two items of radiation and conduction in EMC have low passing rate. In the robot certification (for robots sold in China), EMC has made requirements for the launch and immunity of robots.



The reasons for failure can be attributed to system design problems: cable selection, cabinet structure design, filter selection and other factors may lead to EMC failure.



Q3: Is there any professional suggestions for the manufacturers undergoing EMC rectification?

A3: In a word, there are three ways to solve EMI problems: shielding, filtering and grounding.

Firstly, shielding. The cable in the robot body pipeline package must be shielded wire, and the shielding layer shall be connected with the heavy-duty connector shell, and aviation plug shell with 360 ° coverage. The cables in the interconnection line between the robot body and the electrical cabinet shall be shielded wire, and the shielding layer shall be 360 ° coverage with the heavy-duty shell.

Secondly, the appropriate filter should be selected. The input end and output of the power filter shall be completely isolated, and the metal shell of the filter shall be closely combined with the shielding box to realize good grounding. Before certification, it is better to conduct the pre test in the field, which can save the time of field rectification.

Finally, grounding. The body and the electrical cabinet shall be reliably grounded, and the metal parts inside the electrical cabinet shall be reliably connected.



Q4: What about the rectification methods of conducted emission?

A4: the design and rectification methods of conduction emission generally start from the following points:

1. Select the appropriate filter.

2. The length of the power input wire in the shielding shell shall be shortened.

3. Input end and output of power filter shall be completely isolated.

4. The filter metal shell and the shielding box are closely combined to achieve good grounding.

5. Select appropriate magnetic ring for temporary adjustment.
